Drone UIs and Holograms
Our studio was contacted by a company that wanted some drone UIs, holograms and screen overlays created. Aside from the drone model that was provided, everything else was created by us.
An interactive video wall concept was needed that will show all drone-related information regarding flights, delivery, drone stats, etc.
Two drone UI screen overlays were needed for the aircraft flying forward and downward during the delivery process.
In addition, some holograms and wireframes of the drone were required for a separate promotion website for the project. They needed to show 360-degree rotation and highlight of each drone component such as engines, rotors, sub-frame, etc.
Another motion design UI element that was requested was an entry user interface, to the drone storage facility. The UI needed to show information such as temperature, voltage, time, weather conditions and if any of the drones needs maintenance.
The project involved using 3D software, in our case Cinema 4D for the drone holograms. For animation and motion design we used Adobe After Effects and Illustrator for the initial UI design. The final animated assets were render at 4K resolution.
